Managements on the Dream Materials in the Psychotherapies

Abstract

|
The author had supervised 11 psychotherapeutic cases done by 10 residents from Dec. 1997 to Nov. 1998. Through the supervisory experiences some problems were raised focussing on the dream materials. 8 cases provided dream materials, but assigned residents didn’t discuss patients’ general ideas on the dreams. Some of the residents avoided the management of dream materials. Few of them tried to take association about the dreams, but not oriented with patients’ side. Most of them didn’t try to give any interpretation.
